Employment at the IOM and the National Academies
Over 1,100 employees support the work of the National Academies with thousands of distinguished leaders and experts volunteering their time to serve on committees, plan and participate in seminars, review documents, and assist the work of the National Academies. The Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellowships Program provides an opportunity for outstanding mid-career health professionals to gain an understanding of the health policy process, to contribute to the formulation of new policies and programs, and to develop in their careers as leaders in academic health centers and in health policy.
Norman F. Gant/American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship
The Norman F. Gant/American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship provides an exceptional learning and career development opportunity to obstetricians and gynecologists early in their careers. Fellows will continue with their main academic responsibilities while engaging part time over a two-year period in IOM's health and science policy work.
The Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program
