CDC Fact Sheets for Nutrition Standards for Food in Schools

The CDC has developed a set of audience-specific fact sheets based on the IOM report Nutrition Standards for Foods in Schools: Leading the Way toward Healthier Youth. These fact sheets, available on the CDC website, can be downloaded by school staff, food service personnel, parents, and youth to guide them in supporting and developing strong nutrition standards that will impact students’ health. The fact sheets answer common questions about the IOM report and summarize its recommendations.
