Nutrition science is uniquely poised to serve as the crossroads for many disciplines and, using genomics tools, can bridge this knowledge to better understand and address diet-related chronic diseases and molecular responses to dietary factors.
To address these issues, the Institute of Medicine held a two-day workshop, and released Nutrigenomics and Beyond: Informing the Future Workshop Summary, which explores the state of the science, examines its potential, and discusses how that potential might best be realized.
