The Institute of Medicine's Committee on Optimizing Graduate Medical Trainee (Resident) Hours and Work Schedules to Improve Patient Safety will hold two public panel sessions during its meeting on May 8 and May 9, 2008. They will be in Room 201 of the National Academies’ Keck Center, 500 5th St., NW, Washington, DC. These events will be free and open to the public from 1:30 PM to 3:00PM on May 8th and 8:30AM to 9:15AM on May 9th.
The Committee will hear presentations by experts on the following topics:

Challenges in Resident Workload
