The Institute of Medicine Committee on Traumatic Brain Injury held its first meeting on July 18, in the Lecture Room of the National Academy of Sciences Building,

On Monday, July 18, the committee meeting was open to the public from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM. During the open session, the Committee will heard presentations by invited experts as well as TBI survivors and family members. On the second day, July 19, the meeting was closed in its entirety.
