Meeting 3. Committee to Evaluate Measures of Health Benefits for Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulation

The Institute of Medicine (IOM) Committee to Evaluate Measures of Health Benefits for Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulation held its third meeting on April 5-6, 2005, in the Keck Building, room 101, 500 5th Street, NW.

On Tuesday, April 5 at 1 PM, the committee meeting was open to the public. During the open session, the public will had the opportunity to hear presentations of the three case studies of cost-effectiveness analysis of EPA, FDA, and NHTSA regulations prepared by the Committee in collaboration with federal agency staff. The open session concluded at 3:30 PM, at which time the meeting continued in closed session. The Committee meeting on Wednesday, April 6, was held entirely in closed session.
