Title: Cohort R77: Occupational Morbidity and Mortality in Navy and Marine Corps Personnel
Summary: A feasibility study was conducted of occupational morbidity and mortality among Navy and Marine Corps personnel with jobs considered hazardous on a long term basis. These occupations include (among enlisted Navy men): machinists, enginemen, machinery repairmen, boilermen, electricians, metalsmiths, pipe fitters, damage controlmen, pattern makers, and molders. The Marine Corps occupations were armament repair and aircraft maintenance. Mortality was traced through 1980.
