Purpose today is to show why PTSD poses diagnostic dilemmas. This will be a conceptual talk. I can get references for you where data have been collected but my main agenda is to stimulate skepticism about the validity of delayed presentation PTSD when it so profoundly influenced by expectation and secondary gain within the context of a veterans’ healthcare system.
