Meeting Four of the Committee on the Assessment of the US Drug Safety System took place on January 17-19, 2006 at the Keck Center of the National Academies, 500 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001, in room 100.

• January 17th: Workshop, "Advancing the Methods and Application of Risk-Benefit Assessment of Medicines". The workshop took place from 8:15am – 5:00pm and was open to the public.
