As described in the Plan for a Short-Term Evaluation of PEPFAR Implementation Interim Letter Report, the Committee, as part of their evaluation, planned field visits to the *fifteen PEPFAR focus countries. For more information on these visits, please see below.  

*Due to security concerns, the Committee was not able to visit either Cote d’Ivoire or Haiti.  In lieu of a visit, the Committee conducted a series of conference calls with people in those countries.

A generic agenda was used for each visit. The specifics of this agenda varied from country to country depending on the focus of the PEPFAR programs and the availability of various people and sites.
