Meeting Objectives:
The purpose of this meeting is to inform US stakeholders about the present state of brain disorder activities in sub-Saharan Africa based on information coming out of the planning meeting held in July, 2008 in Kampala, Uganda; to identify issues of concern to US stakeholders in the area of quality of care for mental health and neurological disorders in sub-Saharan Africa; and to solicit support from interested stakeholders to expand the scope of the workshop agenda and to increase participation of key stakeholders from all regions of Africa.
