The Forum held it's first meeting on October 4th and 5th, 2006 in Washington DC. 

Subsequent meetings have been held on February 26th and 27th, 2007 in Washington, DC; July 30th and 31st, 2007 in Woods Hole, MA; October 24th and 25th, 2007 in Washington, D.C., January 30th, 2008 in Washington D.C., June 24th and 25th, 2008 in Washington D.C., and October 15th and 16th, 2008 again in Washington, D.C.
