Daniel J. Burch, M.D., is Executive Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Medical Officer of CeNeRx Biopharma.  Dr. Burch holds an MD from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Burch has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a total of fifteen years at Abbott Laboratories, SmithKlineBeecham and GlaxoSmithKline.  His most recent post at GSK was Senior Vice President, Neurosciences Medicines Development Centre.
