Activity Description
On January 6-7, 2004, the IOM hosted an invitational summit to further translate the vision for improving the quality of our nation's health care as laid out in the IOM's Crossing the Quality Chasm report. The summit focused particular attention on five priority areas: asthma, chronic heart failure, major depression, diabetes, and pain control in advanced cancer. See Project Description for further infomation.
The report from the summit was released on September 14, 2004.
