The first meeting of the Committee on the Evaluation of Federal Health Care Quality Programs occured April 19-20, 2001. The first half of April 19th was closed to the public. Discussions on April 19-20 included Crossing the Quality Chasm, Quality Aims and Guiding Priciples, Major Federal Health Care Quality Programs, and Medicare Quality Challenges.
