The first meeting of the Committee on the Ryan White CARE Act: Data for Resource Allocation, Planning, and Evaluation was held February 11-12, 2002 in Washington, DC. During the closed session portion of the meeting, the committee conducted the conflict of interest and potential sources of bias discussion, per NRC procedure. They discussed the charge and scope of the project, as well as issues of methodology and framework. They heard a presentation from a committee consultant and held a preliminary discussion of the report structure. The committee made plans for site visits and the next meeting.
