The Committee on Achieving Sustainable Global Capacity for Surveillance and Response to Emerging Diseases of Zoonotic Origin held a special meeting with the Senior United Nations System Coordinator for Avian and Human Influenza, Dr. David Nabarro.  Dr. Nabarro informed the committee on relevant issues to consider when developing a global and sustainable surveillance system for emerging diseases of zoonotic origin.
