On May 20th, 2009, the Institute of Medicine Committee on the U.S. Commitment to Global Health released their final report, The U.S. Commitment to Global Health: Recommendations for the Public and Private Sectors.

The committee co-chairs, Ambassador Thomas Pickering and Dr. Harold Varmus, were joined by Dr. Harvey Fineberg, President of the Institute of Medicine, and hosted a public release at 1:00pm at the Keck Center of the National Academies (500 Fifth Street NW, Washington, DC).
