During the closed portions of the committee meeting, the committee completed the bias and conflict-of-interest discussion; assessed committee composition; became familiarized with the IOM process; reviewed the Statement of Task; and began planning for their second committee meeting in Pretoria, South Africa on April 12-15, 2010. The full committee was in attendance, including co-chairs Tom Quinn and David Serwadda, and committee members Salim Karim, Amaboo Dhai, Jennifer Cooke, Geoff Garnett, Peter Ndumbe, Mead Over, Jessica Price, Francis Omaswa, Carmen Portillo, and Marla Salmon.
