This symposium, focused on the role of industry in childhood obesity prevention began with a session entitled, "Food and Physical Activity Products, Portfolio Shifts, and Packaging Innovations". The second session was entitled "Retailing Healthy Lifestyles: Food and Physical Activity".
After these two sessions the symposium divided into three break-out sessions. The first focused on the role of the entertainment industry, the second focused on public and private education campaigns and the role of self-regulation, and the third focused on the business response to childhood obesity.
