The President of the IOM, currently Harvey Fineberg, speaks to the IOM membership at the Annual Meeting, held yearly in October. Each year, the president opens the meeting with a session on a topic that is both timely and important to IOM members. The President’s Address is supplemented with a publication that provides additional insights into the impact and finances of the IOM that year.

Informing the Future
This biannual publication highlights the work of the IOM over a two year period, providing insight into the nature of the IOM’s work and its distinctive role in health and health policy. The book includes IOM’s reports, collaborative activities and fellowship programs. The final section provides a comprehensive bibliography of IOM reports for the two years leading up to publication. Informing the Future is published in odd years, dating back to 2000.
